Crockpot Sesame Chicken
3-4 Boneless/Skinless Chicken breasts
Pepper
1/2 white onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 C honey
1/2 C low sodium soy sauce
Approx. 2 tbs olive oil
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
sesame seeds
Optional:
jasmine rice
asparagus
Lightly season chicken with pepper and place in crockpot. Combine onion, garlic, honey, soy sauce, oil, and pepper over the chicken.Cook on low for 4 hours Remove chicken and shred into pieces with a fork. Add back to the crockpot and let it soak in the juice for a 15 more minutes or so. Take out and serve over jasmine rice. I added asparagus to this dish because I was looking to get rid of some left overs. You can add green beans, broccoli, or asparagus. Or you can eat as barabeque style and put in on ezikial bread instead of rice. You can also make wraps with these. I keep the asparagus seperate so I can eat this dish a few different ways.
